This year`s Christchurch Food and Wine Festival runs from the 7th until the 16 May. The International Food Market takes place as usual in the main High street on Saturday 8th May and Sunday the 9th May with over a 100 stalls selling food and drink. Cookery demonstrations will be held as usual in Saxon Square which will host celebrity and local chefs. The renowned Indian chef Cyrus Todiwala will be giving two cookery demonstrations on Sunday 9th May. Vegetarian chef Rose Elliot, who is author to over 60 vegetarian or vegan books, will be appearing on Saturday the 8th of May and who is the festival`s patron. TV chef Lesley Waters will be along both Friday 7th May and Saterday 8th May.
