From Dorset to America – A World of Difference!
Meet local author Julie Musk and hear about America: the facts, the reality, the lowdown.
What's life really like in America? As featured in the Daily Echo (publication date 4 July), former Queensmount and Bournemouth School for Girls pupil, Julie Musk (née Taylor) will be launching her new book A Slice of Apple Pie: Your One-Stop Guide to Living in America at Borders between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday 5 July.
The book is a first-hand account of the experiences of one English family and their dog who lived in the US for two years.
Come along for a chat with the author and pick up a signed copy. Plus the chance to win free Starbucks goodies.
[Journalists: you are very welcome to attend the launch, and the author will be available between 10 and 11 a.m. specifically for you. Author interviews, articles and features are available on request.]
